Welcome to Arsenalen

The Swedish Tank Museum – a museum filled with vehicles, both wheeled and tracked, from the early 1900’s to modern machines from the present day. Withness the smell and tecnical development, and confront the fate of war from our times.

The museum is located 7 km from Strängnäs, along the motorway E20.

Train and bus Train 58 either to Strängnäs or to Eskilstuna station. Then bus 220 or 820 to bus stop Näsbyholm, just outside the museum.

By car from road no 55
From the north: After the Strängnäs high bridge, follow signs for local road (blue sign) towards Eskilstuna.
From the south: At Biskopskvarn crossing – take the motorway (E20) towards “Göteborg” (Gothenburg) and follow the directions below.

By car from the motorway (E20) Exit #135 to “Härad” and in the T-crossing take right towards “Strängnäs”.

  • The vehicles are not packed together, but there is plenty of space so you can comfortably see all nuts, bolts, cannons from all possible and impossible angles .... impressed
