Winter Meet 2010

Minus fourteen C, snowfall and a meteorological class 2-warning

As expected only the real enthusiasts managed to get to the Winter Meet this year. But it was an opportunity to enjoy a really white winter which does not present itself every year.

The Field Kitchen
This was the heart of the Meet - the historic field kitchen. The traditional army pea soup was nice and hot

A couple of visitors brought their own military vehicles. This Volvo 903 came with a fully winterized owner!

The Ikv (assault gun) 103 was one of those whose beautiful song warmed us in the cold

And the Pbv (APC) 401 (MT-LB) came out to show off
Skiing after a bv 202
Most were content to ride in the Bv 202, but Thomas had brought skis and wanted to use them
Lots of snow, chills and fun! By now the Winter Meet is a tradition, so well met next year!
